Evelyn Geating joined the Great Scott team in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in investment research, portfolio operations, and financial data analysis. A Pennsylvania native, she began her career in finance in 2016 with Core Asset Management, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, before joining Wellington Management in 2017, where she supported the Large-Cap Value Equity Team as a Research Analyst. She later served as Investments Manager at Porter & Guide Wealth Management, where she led trade operations and contributed to portfolio construction, performance analysis, and investment strategy development.

With experience spanning both institutional asset management and independent advisory firms, Evelyn has cultivated a deep understanding of investment workflows, operational infrastructure, and data-driven decision making. She is particularly focused on streamlining internal systems, building scalable solutions, and transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for advisors and clients.

Outside of the office, Evelyn can be found climbing cliffs, exploring geological formations, or out on the golf course. She’s also a proud mom, an avid chess player, and enjoys writing about the intersection of nature, philosophy, and finance.
