Melissa Berry

Experience

Melissa Berry is an Indiana native; growing up in a small, close knit community. She began her career in financial services in 2005 with Wells Fargo Bank, transferring to Pennsylvania in 2010. Her experience includes head teller, credit underwriter and relationship banker, and licensed banker in 2018.

She joined Great Scott Financial Services in November 2020 as a Client Relationship Manager. Melissa assists with client expectations and communications, new business operations and portfolio reporting.

Outside of work you’ll find her outside! Melissa and her family enjoy exploring and connecting with nature all over the Mid-Atlantic US.

She is a Registered Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, and holds her Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts (Series 6), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) and Pennsylvania State Life Insurance Registrations.

Kristi Rahn

Experience

Kristi is a Lehigh Valley native who joined Great Scott Financial in March 2019 as Portfolio Analyst.

Kristi has worked in the financial services industry for the past 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Kristi previously worked as an Equity Trader at MFS Investment Management in Boston, MA, as well as a Trader & Analyst at SEI Investments.

Kristi is a General Securities Registered Representative (FINRA Series 7).

Scott Seymour

Experience

Scott makes his home in Hellertown, PA with his wife, Kasie, and their two daughters, Olivia and Arline.

He is a financial professional who founded Great Scott Financial in 1998 to serve as the corporate infrastructure for a first-class boutique financial services firm.  Since the firm’s founding, Scott has been honored with the privilege to provide service to clients in 32 states with regards to investments, education funding strategies, and estate and retirement planning.

Scott holds his General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) registrations. He obtained his General Securities Principal Registration (Series 24) in 2005 and his Municipal Fund Securities Principal Registration (Series 51) in 2008. Scott completed Personal Financial Planning courses at Moravian College in 2007-2008 with accredited courses encompassing investment planning, estate planning, financial planning, retirement planning, employee benefits, and income tax planning.

A graduate of Moravian College, Scott holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. He entered the sales and marketing industry in 1995 and worked for several companies in outside business-to-business sales.
